Week 1 - Day 1

So, I did it - I measured, weighed, took a nasty before photo.

I also did the day 1 work out - O.M.G!  It included a 20 minute - learn the exercises - which just about killed me.  THEN there was the 30 minute "bum bum" exercise routine.  I couldn't keep up with most of it, which I wasn't surprised about - I haven't done any exercise since pre-wedding - so spring 2001 - that a LOT of years...oh, I guess I did do some running one summer - probably in 2003 or 2004 - so...still a long time.

Its been 30 minutes since I did it and I am already getting stiff - I sure hope I can get out of bed in the morning!

I almost talked myself OUT of doing the exercise once the time had arrived for me to do it...lazy girl.  I think the problem is that its a home, and who would know if you did it or not.  At an actual class, you're there with a friend (so you have to show up) and you feel silly if you don't keep up (so you work out harder).

Now the nasty part - the stats and photos:
39   - Chest
12   - R arm
12   - L arm
39.5 - Waist
40.5 - Hips
22.5 - R thigh
22.5 - L thigh
144   - Weight




I guess the good news is that I'm not at 150 lbs!

Anyway.....TRUST that this will work!

SO...I've been feeling crappy emotionally and fat physically - and well, I need to do something for ME...and I watched a couple of exercise infomercials and got to thinking...maybe I should try something like that.

I looked through YouTube videos and determined that I would give the Brazil Butt Lift a try...I know, silly...infomercials are BS...but you know what...any exercise will be better than what I'm doing...which is NOTHING.

It claims you will have a toned butt and everything else in just 90 days...and see big results in 1 week...ha ha...which, I don't believe...but if there are ANY results, I'll be pleased!

I'm tired of my muffin top...feeling better with my waist band button undone etc.

I've never had to worry about my weight or anything before...I was hovering around 100 lbs until I was in my late 20's.  Then I was hovering between 118 and 125 until I became pregnant.  During the pregnancy, I only gained 20 lbs and 2 weeks after he was born, I was down 40 lbs (the 20 I gained and an extra 20).  Unfortunately...I've gained all of that back and I feel like I look pregnant...BOO HISS.  For the last 3-4 years, I'd been hovering between 145 and 150 - which is a LOT when you are only 5'2".  A couple of years ago, one of GJA's work mates asked if I WAS pregnant again.

Even though I wished that I was pregnant...I wasn't...just fat....and even though that was almost 2 years ago,  it took until NOW to get to the point that I need to do something.

I need to do something for me and I really hope these DVDs are good because I hate to exercise...so having exercise be the thing to do for me is ODD...I know that I should...so I'm going to give it a good effort.

Wouldn't it be nice if I was more toned and lost some weight?  YES, it would.
